This is quoted from the piece I printed earlier, and pretty much says it all for me Rob. This is from the Emporia Gazette, an opionion piece, and pretty much a right leaning paper.
Freedom, I know that you and I discussed this before and just maybe with Lugars comments we can at least get some more quidance in this war. But the fact remains that Congress authorized the President to go into Iraq.

But, Rob, don't you remember the huge public push this Administration made to get this war? Starting in summer of 2002, they lobbied very, very hard for this war. They were the sellers of this idea to us and Congress. And they got on news show after news show telling stories of mushroom clouds, etc. Eventually Congress bought it, but I'm not sure they had much choice....at the time, the public approval for invasion of Iraq was near 70-percent.

What I remember is that there was a LOT of pushing for this war going on before Bush was President and by some of the loudest anti-war advocates in DC right now.

America will remember in 2008 just as it did in mid-term elections... GWB is the worst President in the history of America...

I can't wait to read the post Election threads in 2008...
How many excuses wii be made then?

America will never elect another member of the political cover-up that surrounded the September 11, 2001, tragedy... This is a fact...

People speak of will...and not having the will...the will from the right has always been there...if you are looking for the unwilling....just move left of center..and as far as the eye can see..you in fact can gaze upon the unwilling...UNWILLING to put the good of the country above politics....sure mistakes were made...but instead of helping overcome the mistakes that are sure to come in warfare....they merely point the finger..with selective memories..forgetting they too supported the war...until it became inconvenient.....due to the many social programs they are missing out on....its not the good of the people they are interested in...its power that comes from distributing the funds...in fact its were they get their power base....and any that can not see the obvious attempt at just undermining the effort in hopes of bringing a halt to the conflict....not for the projected purpose of the good of the nation... but for the only good they are interested in.......the good they have in mind is at the ballot box...as they put their careers ahead of the entire safety of the country......as they go out of their way to point fingers....make moronic claims of Iraq....didn't invade us..there were no terrorists there.....he was under control.....we were lied to...the list goes on and on.....and its all in retrospect......with no vision at all toward the future....of my children....your children....and in fact their very own children......is the power they gain in politics worth risking the very fabric of our nation? Most people can see through their deceit...but sad to say...some can not....or will not....just as the communist have infiltrated our legal system they in fact appear to have hi-jacked this once noble political party that one time stood....not only for the good of the people...but were willing to compromise for the good of the country.....THE LACK OF VISION..IS INDEED BLINDING. I'd really like to know where you get your "facts".

YOU MEAN....they will never elect anyone that was in fact on the 9/11 commission? As they clearly did not want to get to the bottom of this happening.....due to the fact.....their political careers were on the line....as some were placed there just for the purpose of disinformation....it was an obvious attempt at covering up...."ALL" the facts. Now some treat this conclusion as the gospel.....yea the gospel according to "POLITICIANS".....WHO'S LACK OF ACTION PUT US IN THIS CONDITION TO START WITH.....GO FIGURE...A POLITICIAN SAYING...THAT IT WAS NOT HIS FAULT. Now some want a second chance....the same lying....hypocritical....adulterous crowd....that almost got the entire country to fall to the hands 21 men with box cutters....yea they sure looked out for the best interest the first time around...unanswered attacks...upon our own soil......foregoing the retention of the ring leader that was responsible...cutting our military to the bone...all while we in fact faced this problem......placing laws on the books that did not allow the exchange of information between law enforcement agencies.....and thats just an example of the things to come with another liberal government leadership.....in fact just look at the house...they seem more interested in prosecuting our own leaders in a time of war than they do in dealing with the threat that faces us .....and all you can call it is vindictive politics....nothing more.....FIDDLE SOME MORE...WHILE ROME BURNS. You're memory is different than mine, mom. I do remember quite a bit of anti-Saddam rhetoric coming out of the Clinton White House and talk of regime change.....but, NOT by means of a US invasion. There were plenty of threats of missile strikes, but no threats of invasion.

THE ONE AND ONLY FAULT ONE CAN FIND WITH MR. BUSH...is in fact...yes..he is ultimately responsible for the action of warfare we are now engaged in....as he is our "COMMANDER IN CHIEF"......as the domestic programs and security...are without question the best in several decades....but you will not hear...any of this mentioned in the press....why? Because they know in fact.....he has done a great job in leading the nation.....they take one conflict...over imply its effects...and continue to try and place a "SHADOW" upon his entire presidency....all a lie of implication.....when in fact...we spend much more money at home...in the continuing support of the failing "GREAT SOCIETY" programs.....all the while more killings are taking place due to this program....in its resulting crimes...immoral behaviors...drug dealing...child porn......all to the tune of some 18,000 murders a year...not entire deaths...just violent murders....yet us spending ......much less money in defense of this country....with far less life's being lost....is somehow more important than protecting our own people here at home...due to both...."CRIMES....AND THE PREVENTION OF TERRORISM"......and some believe the media does not influence the masses.....this is all just propoganda from the left leaning media...and how they project what is important...and apparently it is not us...."WE THE PEOPLE" who's best interest they have in mind...with this obvious manipulation of our media systems.
