There is no difference between the lies a military recruiter tells someone and the lies told by any personell manager at any company in this country. They all say what they need to say to hire the best they can hire. The only reason the leftist media does these so-called "investigative articles" is so they don't have to pay for advertising to convince young people to not join the military. You see, their goal is to diminish the possiblity of this country building a military force large enough and strong enough to actually defend us.

No, the head of HR is usually if not 100% of the time a much better liar than any army recruiter. I've worked with some of the best and wow are they good. It's an art that would probably make even the highest political adviser green with envy. I love watching them and I'd turn religious if I ever had to go up against one of them.

As far as that second remark. Our industrial military complex is far past the point of just defending us. It's whole purpose is to keep all the countries in Africa, the islands, sourth america, and anywhere else supplied with weapons so they are killing each other and buying from us. But I'm sure you know that already. I normally wouldn't even reply to such a remark but you got me going with the first part.

That pretty much goes without saying since some of the most crooked politicians are hiring some of the most crooked in the country.

First off, I don't believe that's the sole purpose of our military. But am I to understand from your comment that you don't believe that we should support countries that want and need to defend themselves; but should instead just let the same enemies that may well have long range plans to destroy us just waltz in and take them over? Or are you saying that you would rather we just eliminate our so-called "industrial military complex" and give up without a fight ourselves?
