The American public is growing impatient with the war, with 63 percent of people surveyed in a recent poll saying they oppose Mr. Bush's decision to deploy more troops to Iraq.

This measure by the Republicans could bode very badly for the Republicans in the 08 elections for the Congress and the W.H.

Yes Rasta, it could be very bad in the 08 elections, but at least the adminstration is trying to win in Iraq. Why can't we for once stop thinking about elections and do what is good for the future of this country? If we cut and run then we have lost status as a super power and then we could very lickely fighting terrorists in this country. If that happens who will the left want to try diplomacy with?

I'm glad at least 34 of them had their heads out of their butts. Too bad we can't get the cowards who voted yes to wake up.

Yes, there are a few left, but they are a dieing breed. Liberals are trying to turn people into cowards and diplomats.

I was on the MSN homepage last night and in the news catagory The first link to a story was about how the troops surge seems to be getting off on the right foot.... And the very next link was a story about THE HOUSE VOTE....

In all honesty these politicians are traitors..... Escpecially at the point where there non binding resolution is effecting an operation courenty taking place.....

I am thinking that we might need to charge these traitors with treason.
