War in Iraq... When should the troops come home???
I would like to know what is acceptable to the American
people regarding our troops in Iraq coming home?
What number of deaths to our American troops is acceptable?
What would you tell the family of a fallen soldier?
He died defending America?
And last, aftter is was discovered there were no "WMD'S" in Iraq, and that the intelligence regarding Iraq's weapons program was, " well, not so intelligent"
should we have brought the troops home?

HMMM what are the selections???????
Before the war is finished (would that require a time out or a surrender)
After the war is finished (that would require a winner and loser, and one sides loss of self esteem)
Or can we get both sides to declare a DRAW??????

The war is unwinnable. We were told that 2000 troops ago. It was time to bring the troops home in 2004. Any further loss of troops is on Bush's head.

The democrats promised they would be home by now. I agree it's on Bush's head but not his alone. The democrat mouths have to be accountable or shut up.

I would like nothing more than to bring the troops home right now, but I am afraid of the signal we would be sending to the insurgents and the rest of the world. We would be saying that the US will not finish what we started. Yes the Iraqi's need to step up more and they are doing that but not at the level the Democrats are wanting.

When the job is done and the terrorists in Iraq are subdued and the government can function with at least a modicum of decency.

This question is irrelevant.

No. This assumes that WMD was the ONLY reason for the invasion. There were more than twenty reasons to invade Iraq.
As far as the intelligence being bad that was a pretty universal attribute of the intelligence.
One should wonder why we continue to let leftist dems chip away at our intelligence gathering agencies when they are clearly so important.

POTUS said the war was over long ago. This is an occupation.
After the war is finished (that would require a winner and loser, and one sides loss of self esteem)
We, the USA, won the war, Saddam lost. This occupation is to help solidify the democratically elected Iraqi government.
Or can we get both sides to declare a DRAW??????

So you agree we can leave then, right? Because they need to step up.

Democrats are in charge of Congress, with Republicans coming on board. 2008 will be about Iraq. We're America, we can do what we will.
MUSLIMS who do nothing to stop it CONDONE IT:-O
Agreed. So let them deal with it. We've been there for almost 4 years, and need to be there another 1, at least. But by 2008 the Presidential Race will be about pulling troops out of Iraq. Whoever wins, R or D, the Troops will be out by '08 or '09.

Dead, is it Democrats in charge, or just members of the political elite club that crosses party lines? If this is the case then it will not matter.
