Sure, I am going to do the research for some one that has an axe to grind with the our goverment. I don't think so.

Graybeard posted the Iraqi law which stated that a person could not be executed after they turned 70. Saddam was almost 70, if it went on a few more months he could not be executed.

The article implied that Saddam had secrets that the US wanted to suppress and that is the reason he was executed so fast(?). It is no secret that we supported Iraq during the Iraq-Iran war.
