Maybe that's because you're being a bit too selective in who you consider credible and knowledgeable. Being either doesn't require that someone's last name be Kennedy, Pelosi, Reid, or Kerry.

Actually, if memory serves me when the ISG was in the middle of all their "talking" they kept coming out with three concepts, go big, go long, or go home. It's obvious who won those screaming contests.

What lies? Even the Republicans stated that the reason that the Dems won the Mid-Terms because of their stance on the war.

Polls...please...give me a break. These are mostly manufactured to make the democrats look as if they know what the solution is soley by making the republicans look bad. For your info this is a war that Ameircan/Iraq needs to win not democarts.

GoRight, but you had three years, with TOTAL control to get it right, wha happened? Three years with control of the House, Senate and the Presidency when you could have asked for more troops and had a "surge". But instead your side played it quiet because they knew a surge close to the elections would hurt them. They lost anyway.

Do you really realize how much you guys lost? 12 years of solid control of the House and Senate. 10 years of control of the governors, 6 years of TOTAL control of all branches of the Federal Government!!! Say what you will, but you had your chance and then some. Now it's our turn, and you guys are SO SCARED, and the Dems haven't even done anything yet!

As to the polls, believe them or don't believe them, it's all the same to me. My party is in control now and the course of the war is going to change.

You still don't get it. It's not about power withing in our parties! It's not about your party or my party or the party in the middle. It is about the future of this country, the continuing freedoms, safety life as you know it. This is an evil that hates everything about you. They don't give a shit about your party. They hate you becasue the way you treat women, the rights you have to observe all religions, wealth and the world dominance that they wish to acheive. They (our enemy) have way more resolve than you. They don't care how long it takes; the goal for them is the destruction of the western civilization as you and I know it.

The hands of the military were tied due to your side wanting war to be a powder puff party. You/we should have to have no mercy when fighting this type of enemy. They showed us no mercy in all their attack on us here and abroad. Win and win without a concience is what it will take. Wake up and smell the crap you are shoveling.

FYI: the republicans played a big role in losing the previous election but lets not forget that the people have now put faith in a party with no true course, only a platform.
