It hasn't been given a whole lot of coverage yet, but the administration is trying to see how its accusation that "the bombs used in th IEDs that are killing US troops are coming from Iran" is going to fly. How's it going to fly?

I don't think there is any doubt Iran is perpetuating the war. However, the last thing the american people want right now is another Iraq. It will take a open and announced act of war on US soil before the US will react to Iran. The only other possiblity would be a full scale attack on Israel. Iran and its lunatics know this and are milking the situation for all it's worth.

You may be on to something George. I don't think we should be realistically looking at bombing the shit out of Iran at this point.

I read today that we sent another aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf (today maybe) to counter some "aggressive" moves by Iran. Thing is, I don't know what these aggressive moves are. Certainly they have had aggresive rhetoric, but that it hasn't been any different than what they have been doing or saying for the last six months. Maybe it is to put a scare in them, but we shouldn't really be entertaining anything more than that at this point.
