'Free' detainees not allowed home

Of these 141 detainees among the 490 still at Guantanamo, various military reviews have cleared 22 to be freed in their home countries and the remaining 119 for transfer to the control of their home governments.

"It's just an outrageous situation where people have gone through this system that has been established, such as it is, and the (US) government itself has found there's no reason for them to be held any longer, and yet they continue to be held," said Curt Goering, a senior Amnesty International USA official.

"It makes a mockery of any kind of system of justice," Mr Goering added.

So JJ if they are completely innocent(I have no idea) but our government has determined they are ...you think it would help spread democracy to just kill the f'n scumbags. One moment you are lucid and the next a foul mouth bigot.

So do you think that might put us in the same category as Saddam the bad guy that bush said put innocent Iraquis in prison and killed them without a trial. Do you think that would help our military in Iraq. Or are you just playing devils advocate and mocking someone who spills out hatemongering?

Or are you a far leftie that is trying to make conservatives look bad?

Of course not, that's why he lost so badly in the "Bush lied..." debate.

With his unrelenting attacks against opposing opinions... (or FACTS), plagiarism, hypocrisy, etc. I have finally lost the last bit of what respect I did have for him.

It's a shame really, he made some valid points in a thread or two. Unfortunately it's greatly overshadowed by his lack of civility and inability to come to grips with the what is painfully obvious even to half his own party. But I draw the line when people try to put words in my mouth. *spitting them back in jimmy's face*

Oh geez, sorry, I was eating oatmeal too.

As far as I'm concerned, he has reduced himself to nothing more than the AWE mascot for blind followers... the sheep.

we all have different viewpoints, that is what keeps this world from being borning plus too much of either side, the left or the right, would never be a good thing, we need a balance of power, and opinions!
