The thing is we can't keep crying about spilled milk. We are in Iraq now and to suddenly pull out would be even more disasterous. What we need is solutions not to keep dwelling on wheter we should or shouldn't have gone in there. Instead of posting how many troops are dying we need to find ways to keep them from dying.

Your PM at the time made a great speech and I wished we had used his judgement.He supported the peacekeeping mission of Afghanistanand to look for the terrorists but thought the war in Iraq was based on unfounded threats

no I think until we face the truth of what is happening and how it happened it is not Christ like.It is against all principles I have ever been taught.Then when truth is faced you can make a solution.if you try to cover up truth the solution will not come or be correct.It is what I believe.

Face the truth, Pray and solutions will come.Not necessarily an immediate pullout.I do think being truthful is part of the process to find a solution.

I did not say to be untruthful. I said to take care of the present because we can't change the past. We all know that we went to war on misinformation. The fact is that we can not change that. Take care of now and the future will all into place.

Hey MIM I am very proud of our troops and what they are doing, but soldiers dying makes me sad as well. I don't pity them, but I do mourn them. If you don't feel sadness at the loss of life then something is wrong. Just my opinion.
