well. in all actuality i would have to say the objective at hand is being accomplished..i think as americans we fail to realize that there is a battle being waged over the last bit of natural resources we have "consumed" and wasted.

the basics are. if it doesn't get sold its thrown in the trash. thats how the dollar works. and what that is doing is basically kicking ourselves in the ass.

Say what? I would say you had your head in the sand but if you had, you'd know that was false. I guess it's safe to assume though that you really have no clue as to why all of this is going on.. right?

Could be that it is the UN's job to deal with Sudan. Why don't you write a letter to Kofi Annan and ask him why we aren't doing anything about Darfur. You do realize that the US has classified Darfur as a genocide while the UN has not done so yet. If dealing with situations such as Darfur is not the UN's job then could you tell me what is? Plus, the people of Iraq have put Saddam on trial, not the US.

I explained why we are not holding the president of Sudan, so will you tell me if you think that Darfur is the UN's job or not? If not, then exactly what is their job? Quid pro quo.

So are you going to answer the question or not? If you don't want to answer then just say so and I won't waste my time responding to you.

Is the situation in Darfur the UN's job or not? If not, then could you tell me what the UN's job actually is?

Again, you can either answer or not answer, but if you are not going to actually answer then be up front about it and either don't respond or say you won't answer. By the way, I did answer a something you posed as to why we are not holding the president of Sudan. I have very little problem answering questions by people who are willing to answer some of their own.
