if you see relations with russia sour over the next few months we have bad news. and as far as america united...i think we have too many different value systems to really be "unified" ok granted you saw a pretty large amount of american flags after 911 how many do you see now...i know i have seen a huge decrease in the amount of morale that goes out for the american cause...i dont know could just be me...

If we were attacked we would be united. Although I do agree that there would be some who are by their very nature divisive people. They are the ones who make averything a partisan issue. However, I still maintain that if we were attacked that you would see a unified America and whoever did the attacking would be hit extremely hard . . . and I think they realize that. As far as a decreasing morale, I am not sure what you mean. The people around me and the things I have seen show people for America - whether or not it is for this war or not. I do realize that there are America haters out there (and they would be the ones who say "we deserve to be attacked"), but the vast majority of Americans would respond the same way to an attack on us . . . and I believe that would be with vengeance in mind.

So I think it is just you. I don't see people losing morale for the America, they may not be in favor of the war, but they are for America and I doubt that they would look the other way if we were attacked. Some on this forum no doubt would claim that we had it coming and automatically make it a partisan issue. They of course wouldn't be united - they are by their nature divisive. Also, their morale isn't decreasing, as it was never very high to begin with.

I don't think so. I mean there certainly won't be any "regime change" in the foreseeable future. As far as a limited strike goes, it's possible, but not likely. Things are still too dicey in Iraq for us to be firing missiles into another Muslim country. Also, there would be a question of effectiveness. The Iranians aren't dumb.....they are not going to put all of their eggs within reach of US cruise missiles.

I am in agreement with you on that.

The US should be in the Sudan. If we decided to go there, I might even enlist in the service. If you are a non-muslim in many places there, you must convert or die. Enslavement is also a very common option for children especially. By the way forced conversions in The Sudan work like this: A group of "prospective members" are lined up in a room. The first is tortured in front of the others until s/he converts. If not, death horribly. This goes on one by one until all are dead or converted.

The United States won't do anything with regard to Sudan. At least not for the next two years. That along with handing Iran and Syria 99.9% of the Middle East will be another talking point of "Operation Appeasement".

How about OPERATION "BLOW EVERYTHING AND BODY UP" If you "DON'T" Except Bush Style Democracy at the end of a 500 lb bomb!!!

Face it Kix, the Middle East does not want U.S.-European Western-Style Democracy.
