Default Cheney says election outcome will not influence Bush's Iraq policy

According to an article in ABC news, it sounds like Bush intends to "stay the course" no matter how Americans vote.

In an interview with George Stephanopoulos, Cheney said that even with pollsters predicting that Democrats would likely make gains in both houses of Congress Tuesday, voter sentiment would not influence Bush's Iraq policy.

This is to be broadcast this Sunday morning on "This Week." [8:00 Central on ABC]
