Default New GOP commercial on Democrats lying about Iraq

The GOP has a new commercial out proving, definitively, that top Democrats have spent the past couple of years lying constantly about the Iraq war. They keep saying Bush misled them, over and over, but all the quotes and speeches are there for everyone to see - they thought that Saddam had WMD's too, and they had the same intelligence as Bush did. Heck, Clinton was president and he actually attacked Iraq solely because he thought they had WMD's in 1998. Check out the commercial here:

Watched it, not very persuasive. First of all, it's only a select few Democrats - some of them have different opinions on the war. Second, they were relying on the Bush spin on the intelligence - he tried to make Saddam out to be an imminent threat when he wasn't. Every chance he got, he was hyping the intelligence and creating a false case - you can't blame Democrats for falling for it.

All the politicians say whatever they think will get them elected - there is really no difference, and the video demonstrates this. Whatever is popular with the public at the time, politicians in both parties will say and pretend to believe.

"they thought that Saddam had WMD's too, and they had the same intelligence as Bush did."

Not so. This Dem knew there were no WMDs in Iraq. Scott Ritter and the inspectors told me there were no WMDs in Iraq. The rest was all Bush/Neocon hyperbole - or should we just say LIES?

"you can't blame Democrats for falling for it."

>>>I think you can blame the Democrats (and I'm a Democrat). They failed to exhibit any hair or to perform their due diligence.

Does anyone recall.......the kids who used to steal lunch money, push little girls around and then bully everyone into just "dealing" with it?

These kids kind of remind me of the Bush Clones......Rumsfeldork, the Blobettes (Rove and Cheney). This questionable bunch is 100% in support of a Radical Dictatorship....but they are trying to sell modern American Democracy. They want to condense our civil liberites, they want to gag and shackle the media (Faux News not included as they do not quallify as "media") and they want to force feed the Bush Imperialism Doctrine all over the world. I want my America back......my America used to be inspiring, it's leaders were equiped with an ability to articulate rational thoughts, my America was able to admit when it was wrong and most importantly, my America attempted to sove problems.
