Default Occuaption of Iraq requires more than 500,000 U.S. Troops

currently 144,000 U.S. Troops failing to Occupy Iraq thats not nearly enough retired military generals have have repeatly said thats not nearly enough troops the bush administration has turned down all request for more troops as an occupying power the occupier is respnsible to provide security for country's citizens america has failed in Iraq under the Bush Administration its not too late if democrats gain congress they will force administration to overhaul iraq policy withdrawal is not a option Colin Powell wanted the powell doctrine to be implemented rumsfeld objected a small force cant battle an insurgency provide security protect border and rebuild a nation at the same time asking to much from too few

It doesn't matter how many troops it will take, the USA is a strong and mighty country, I believe they will do whatever has to be done...NO matter what.

And how did you, Field Marshall anti, come up with the 500,000 number? Your vast military experience?

http://www.ft.com/cms/s/968e475a-814...0779e2340.html i've been studying military affair for years An occuptaion of iraq requires massive ground troops look secure iraqs border to prevent flow of foreign fighter securing iraqs oil facilities providing security policing cites providing civil services training iraqi security forces fighting a robust insurgency all at one holding every iraqi citie town etc all at once requires massive ground numbers our current force cannot do all these things at once
