What really is the death toll of US Combatants in Iraq/Afghanistan, I hear figures of 2500 up to 10,000, which is it. I mean with todays news media, what do you believe. Just recently in Victoria, there was a horror road smash, with 7 people killed. The first news stories on the accident, said that there where only 4 killed, same time different channel, were saying 6 killed. There were all other quotes on the death toll, until the next day, when it was offically 7. Get what I mean. who do you believe?

The problem is that media fights to be the first to break a story. When you rush you make mistakes. Good journalism has been replaced by fast journalism.

That's good Moggy
Fast, greedy journalism as opposed to good, objective journalism.

I don't know in your country, but in this country there seems to be a lack of willing, investergatory jounalist anymore. No more real truth stories, uncovering corrupt doings of government.

Yeah, but I'm thinking thier agenda is more to do with climbing the ladder, to get the bigger salary, and fame too. Have you ever watched those morning news show hosts, absolute dickheads, and thier trying to tell me how I should think, ha.
