It is a local paper and believe me where I live the newspaper and the majority are far right. This is not typical of most of the northwest but it is where Ilive. I canot give the paper because then I disclose the city I live in. Now it is a right leaning paper but still fair and not crazy like Fox. they do present editorials from both sides and other papers both left and right. My city voted 68 percent Bush even though my state went blue for Kerry. You see the city I live in has is more rural and uneducated then other northwest cities. Educated people from the university, physicians, firefighters, teachers, in this area most people with a college degree voted Kerry. But the majority of the population are not very political and not educated and most comment about bush and their support of him was that he was not an intellectual and they could relate to him and his drinking problems. It was more of a bond than a political idealism. Most people on this forum regardless of views seem politically aware just have different views on how to achieve the same thing. The general public votes for different reasons.
