Members of Al Qaida surely have said some bad things about America and, in particular, bad things about President Bush,....calling him names, calling him a liar and a failure, etc. Al Qaida said many of the same things about Clinton after the August 98 cruise missile strikes.

And, yes, there have been some left-leaning Americans that have said similar things about the President. Does that imply that Al Qaida and "the left" are one in the same? That's perhaps one of the dumbest suggestions I've seen on this message board....just plain stupid. That's taking animosity against those on the other side politically to a new level.

Both the left and the right need to keep their eye on the ball and remember who the enemy is while continuing to push their ideas for keeping America and its allies safe.

The problem is our enemy sees the bickering that is going on within and they are using it against us. They are praying that we loose the will from inside the united states because that is the only way they can beat us. This war must be won and iraq is the central front. if We win iraq we will crush the jihadist movement (Intelgience report 2006 look it up)

It’s clear to me you are in denial over the war in Iraq. I take issue with you questioning my patriotism. I volunteered for service during Viet Nam and have been dutifully paying my taxes and voting in elections, probably longer than you have been alive.
I have resisted this thread because it is bait and attack setup. Let one from the Left post and you and the rest of the “one liners” will pounce and have a good ole time bashing the “Liberal” rather than opening your eyes and seeing what is really going on in Iraq.
