And yes there is a general hate towards the left but it no way does it permit the behavior we are seing from the left.

You are very wrong sir, THIS IS ZEUS YOU ARE SPEAKING WITH AND I AM THE SMARTEST IN ALL THE UNIVERSE!!!!!!
OK, Mr smart guy...funny funny...enough of that...you are assuming things again...
- Democrats want a sane resolution to problems in Iraq and want Osama Bin Laden's head on a platter
- Al-Qaida wants all Westerners out of the Middle East
These are the two points and how the messages differ greatly. You are reading a bunch of CAMEL CRAP (as you say, he he) into all this. You are piling on a bunch of goofy stuff and making assumptions. Gix, you can have your opinions about Democrats and liberals all you want 'til you are blue in the face pissed off but the facts are that quips like 'cut and run' are used by Karl Rove the neo con right club and put into the mouths of people like you. At that point you are parroting back a bunch of jive that no-one on the left or middle has actually said or even done during the time Bush has been in office. You really have no idea what a Democratic administration would have done after 9/11, that is all relative speculation, scary, spooky stuff from the right about how much better off we are with Bush in office during all this. You can say want you want about 'before 2000' we are now into 6 years of spending a hell of a lot of money and even admitted bad mistakes happening but the course has not changed a bit. That is a problem.

My point exactly. Thank you george. So Mr Cat who is right now

Com'on, you did not even realize that George was talking about Bush and not Al-Qaida...get your perscription checked with the nearest optometrist. (jab-jab, funny funny)

You say this as though you believe it to be fact, but can you prove it to be a fact? I don’t believe they were concerned about our politics for a long time, but if the Islamists are not concerned about Western politics lately then why did they attack Spain right before their elections? And why have we started getting many more outright threats in public from them right before ours? hmmmm?
No, I don't believe they would hate having the Democrats as much as they hate having Republicans in office, because they know the Democrats are softer on terror and much easier to manipulate.
|
You missed my point, I was making a distinction between the two parties and what they (middle eastern factions) think in particular about the Dems or Reps; or really don't think. Try and read a bit closer to what I am saying. And as for terrorists they do not all belong to 'one club' either and do not all have the exact same goals...but they ALL do want Western influences out of the Middle East.
And...you will find something else to read into what I have said and you would be...hmmm...uh...let me find the word...wrong. Just chill out a bit my friend. I do have strong things to say about this and you do too...

soft on terror? you mean like watching al-sadr from the green zone thumb his nose at us??? easier to manipulate??? like the 75% of people that were for invading iraq in the first place? now the number is almost reversed! funny how reality kicks that crap out of ideology. 75% is almost the same number of americans who could not find iraq on a map at the begining of the war. people wanted to invade a country that they could not find on a map.....now that is manipulation!

Not sure what you are saying, but if I am getting it right I agree. I don't think the terrorists care one bit about Democrats or Republicans. 9/11 did not happen over night. When they were in the planning stages they would have had no idea if it would be a Democrat or a Republican in office. Their attack was going to be carried out regardless. They just flat out hate Americans, not certain ones in particular. And they cannot have their minds changed, which is why they have to be dealt with. Either now or later.

Are you people not seeing the psychology being use by the terrorists? they believe Bush is doing their recrutment for them. The more they piss him off the more he opens his mouth and incites more for them. They really do know about the enemy of my enemy, more than Americans do. They know that if the Democrats get control of the government reigns they will loose their bill boards and recruting slogans. They also know that someone else in power in America will yse their brain and not their desire for revenge. Who is dumb enough to use all of the hot button slogans and use of words that most of us know will stir a hornet's nest? Crusade, evil axis naming three nations well in advance of our ability to deal with them.
Hay stupid, I am going to punch you in the mouth, I am telling you two years before I am going to do it, so you can learn self defence. Duh!

i never said that the terrorist care about democrats or rpublicans. That was just the explanation that cat gave in order to give reason to what i originally posted.
My question is this. All the lefty's moveon.org and kerry's book have been saying the same things for the last 6 years. Bush is a failure and bush lied(is this not true) And this is the same message no 2 of alqueda repeated the other day.

Actually I find Bush to be a man of his word, I submit:
"I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower -- the TV was obviously on. And I used to fly, myself, and I said, well, there's one terrible pilot. I said, it must have been a horrible accident.
But I was whisked off there, I didn't have much time to think about it. And I was sitting in the classroom, and Andy Card, my Chief of Staff, who is sitting over here, walked in and said, 'A second plane has hit the tower, America is under attack.'
-December 4, 2001, at a townhall meeting in Orlando, Florida, in response to a question from a third grader, President Bush described his reaction to the initial 9-11 news-
A month and a day later, at a townhall meeting in Ontario, California, President Bush described his experience like this:
"Anyway, I was sitting there, and my Chief of Staff -- well, first of all, when we walked into the classroom, I had seen this plane fly into the first building. There was a TV set on. And you know, I thought it was pilot error and I was amazed that anybody could make such a terrible mistake. And something was wrong with the plane, or -- anyway, I'm sitting there, listening to the briefing, and Andy Card came and said, 'America is under attack."
Bush is telling the truth.
