i know this doesn't represent everyone on the left but there are some sick people out there who cannot support the military in any way:

they egged the house of a soldier who died in iraq and called his parents saying they were glad he's dead and now they're going to protest his funeral. it's unamerican, unpatriotic, and they should be ashamed.

You know I think the war was wrong, but that is a shameful story about a very sick individual and it does not represent anyone except the sicko himself who committed that crime. I think the invasion was wrong, created more terrorists,made the middleeast more unstable, and was based on lies but that makes me more sympathetic and supportive of our soldiers. My friends daughter is in Iraq. Military families are 50/50 on their agreement for or against this war. Some soldiers feel like heros others say they dont even know who the bad guy is themselves or the 14 year old boys they are shooting at . It is a tragic situation for us to be in.I have the utmost sympathy for families who lose their kids in this war.

Bush has lied this country to get into the war. This country is the center of hate around the world, and to support are troops is fine but when we shouldn't of even gone into this war in the first place, that is just wrong. Bush wants oil and that is it. But why are there still troops in Iraq when we are loosing the war anyway? And how are so many people stupid enough not to see this. I am stunned that people were even stupid enough to vote for Bush a second time. Bush has lied and now the whole world hates the USA.

That is crazy that someone would do that, but you can not define everyone by that one individual. There are crazy people in both politcal parties. That is just one thing in life you have to deal with!

Regardless of your position on the war you shouldn't want this stuff to happen. Nearly everybody agrees on that. Just saying "Bush lied" isn't a justification for going around trying to intimidate the families of somebody who just died.
