Based on the numerous threads you start, it would seem you could give a shit about "the boys". You've never missed an opportunity to point out the shortcomings of the troops...but have you ever said anything positive about these kids who've volunteered to serve their country?

It's all about politics with these jag offs. Anyone else notice how this piece of shit titled the thread? the obvious reference to McCain? And even that is as misleading as hell.

The Democratic National Committe consistently portrays McCain as bent on fighting an "endless" war in Iraq. And dumbasses like patriot just eat it up...and then regurgitate what Annenberg FACTCHECK calls a "serious distortion of what McCain actually said," on boards like these.

DNC: We can't afford four more years with a President who fights an endless war in Iraq. ... On the war, McCain scoffed at Bush's call to leave troops in Iraq for 50 years, saying "Make it a hundred!"

Now, how does the above compare with McCain really said:

McCain, Jan. 3: Make it a hundred. ... We’ve been in Japan for 60 years. We’ve been in South Korea for 50 years or so. That would be fine with me, as long as American, as long as Americans are not being injured or harmed or wounded or killed. It’s fine with me and I hope it would be fine with you if we maintained a presence in a very volatile part of the world where al Qaeda is training, recruiting and equipping and motivating people every single day.

If Patriot really wanted the truth he could find it as easily as googling You Tube. What do you want to be this jerk doesn't even bother.

Hey Patriot, I know you're a big fan of the New York Slimes. Any word yet on their follow up to that story about the blonde lobbyist McCain was bonking? Keep us posted, will you.

the Pentagon said Monday that any timetable for a US withdrawal from Iraq would depend on conditions on the ground there.
>>>The world knows better than that. I think that what the Pentagon means is that as long as the ground in Iraq remains a desert, we will not be withdrawing.
