IRAQ Prewar documents of interest...
National Intelligence Esitmate
Iraqi Military Capabilities Through 1999

Despite an impressive military reconstitution effort inder diffeicult circimstances since Desert Storm, Iraq's armed forces retain critical weaknesses. Baghdad will be unwilling and probably unable to engage in significant military operations oitside the country as lond as UN sancrions remain in place and working; Iraq's leadership perceives a strong US mitlitary capability and commitment to maintaining regional stability; and Iraqi forces are occupied with internal security duties - including countering the Kurds, suppressing the Shia, and protecting Saddam's regime

I'll be adding to this as I get more documents, I only have so much time per day to research it. But I thought it might be useful to have a running database to refer to in the future...

I'm sorry Back Atcha, but the link isn't working properly. This is an intelligence report? Do they not have spell check?

Sorry, I forgot to spell check it. I had to retype it as the document was image only, non-copyable. Sadly, I was in a bit of a hurry and not the best sight typer...
I'll see if the first page, the summary link works... if so, I'll repost it.

Figures. Damn CIA... the page is not directly linkable.
Try this one... CIA FOIA - Search Results
then type in "Iraq prewar" into the search field.
or try searching the title of the document

I'd also recommend you run your "dizimformashion" by someone with a minimum of a 5th grade education, with some command of spelling and proper punctuation and the proper names of the religious factions relevant to the issue at hand.

Just guessing but I'm willing to bet this jackass added nothing to the thread. Curious how he goes on and on about how official documents are crap because he says so, but offers nothing other than his infalted ego saturated worthless opinion on anything. No sources (safer than having his sources torn to shreds by obvious common knowledge), nothing ever cited (perhaps because he is utterly alone in his opinions), no links (see sources).
Just a whole lot of hot air about some vast leftist (which includes anything from the right his warped perceptions don't agree with) conspiracy.
As yet however, nothing of any substance. If someone spots something from this clown worth the 3 calories needed to read it, let me know.
