Default McClellan Says Iraq Was Wrong

Bush's press secretary Scott McClellan wrote a book saying Bush and Cheney's invasion of Iraq was wrong. He said wars should only be fought when necessary and Iraq wasn't necessary.

How many of Bush's own people do you yahoos need before you'll admit it?

(Government sees a democrat coming soon so those weasels are jumping on the bandwagon to look like credible nice guys but it's just more of their usual intelligence-insulting manipulation)(Like Iraq)

Admit What?... you can't be so silly as to think he's not wanting to sell a book.. He defended the war daily when he was King, and Now he has a change of Heart?

This only Proves that Washington hides many coats of many colors that hold no truth for very long.

It comes with the Job, I guess..

Bill Clinton is hollering conspiracy and railroading of his Wife, by the Media and his own party..

Oh WAAAAAAAAA! shit, they are all the same..

I have not yet read the whole book. But from the excerpts of it I have come to this conclusion. What was this guy promised but never given? You always have to figure something like that when it comes to Washington DC politics.

Next you have to ask yourself what if some of what he says is true? Then what? Do you go back to the Clinton's and look at all of their staff who have turned against them and now say the Clinton's are criminals too? Well if you say that of Bush and his people, then you have to say that of Clinton and his people and of just about every other President in our history.

There have always been those on the White House staff that have disagreed with the President. The difference now is there is so much money to be made by making your disagreements public and more flamboyant.

>>>I haven't been able to figure out why his own party's elites (of which Bill and Hillary are card-toting members) would want to railroad Hillary instead of Barack.

And yet another insightful remark from Crowley. Gotta wonder if this guy is the happiest person on the planet or if he just really is as inane as the rest of think he is. Things to ponder.

Sorry Crowley you opened yourself up a few too many times not to mention you constantly bash others. Maybe you need to just say something that has merit for a change. It would change your image.

>>>Sometimes people write books when they have something to say. In this case, it doesn't seem that McClellan will be saying anything that the vast majority of Americans don't already KNOW. In fact, I think ALL Americans know by now that Bush manipulated us into war. Even you.

Default This is huge news.

Geedubya did it and Scotty's telling. All along we've known, and the wingers kept drinking the kool-aid. Get that impeachment back on the table Nancy.....we've got grounds.

<snip> And McClellan recalled a day in April 2006, when the unfolding perjury case against Libby revealed that the president had secretly declassified portions of a 2002 intelligence report about Iraq's weapons capabilities to help his aides deflect criticism that his case for war was weak. Some of the most high-profile criticism was coming from Plame's husband, former ambassador Joseph Wilson.

The president was leaving an event in North Carolina, McClellan recalled, and as they walked to Air Force One a reporter yelled out a question: Had the president, who had repeatedly condemned the selective release of secret intelligence information, enabled Scooter Libby to leak classified information to The New York Times to bolster the administration's arguments for war?

McClellan took the question to the president, telling Bush: "He's saying you yourself were the one that authorized the leaking of this information."

"And he said, 'Yeah, I did.' And I was kind of taken aback," McClellan said.

How is declassified information leaked?

This is like shooting fish in a barrel.
