The American military is incredibly competent, vastly superior to any other military in the world. They can't help it where the President sends them. Nor is it in their job description to choose where they go.

The generals in Iraq have proved less teh competent. The standards of plummeted in recruitment and being a beat cop deosnt take alot of college. And al they got these guys doing is being a beat cop.

The generals chosen to go to Iraq have been those who would do what the Bush Admin. wants them to do.
They've lowered the standards of recruitment because the military is stretched dangerously thin.....thanks to the Bush Admin.
These guys are "beat cops" because they won the war, completed their objectives, but are now assigned as "beat cops" by the Bush Admin.
People in the military have to follow orders, or face consequences.

They won their objective....to remove Saddam Hussein. Then came bringing democracy to Iraq. It was only much later that an objective became making sure that the Iraqis have a perfectly working democracy and are 100% secure before we let go of their hands.
Who's dehumanizing anyone? It HAS to be as simple as following orders; if there's any hesitation to follow an order in the military then there's no discipline. You might not agree with the current missions, but that's not the fault of the military.

They wopn an easter egg hjunt from an old man so scarwed he hid like a he was on the underground railroad. Yes the whole thing was such a truimph. Nothing about is about democeracy. It wont everybe anything but killing. They wil never tolerate your precens. You dont get secruity by creating chaos. The military are not godas far from capable thse days and sure as hell no solution for world.

You seem to think that I am using the term "won" with some positive value placed on it. Perhaps I should have used the term "accomplished." They did what they were supposed to do, but the goalpost kept moving further.
Who said the military are gods (I think that's what you were saying)? However, they are capable and well-trained. I do agree that they're not always the solution, but again, they don't choose their missions.
