What are the qualities of the ideal presidential candidate...one who can truly lead this country? Lets hear from the forum members

I think the perfect candidate would be one willing to cast off all the corruption of the past few years and be straight with the American people. Honesty is my number one priority, and we haven't been seeing much of it lately.

George Bush is the most honest president we have had in the last century. If you can't see that then I fell sorry for you. You have probably been reading too much left wing garbage and are a right brain dominent person. The right half of the brain is mostly associated with the arts, music, do good, feell good aspects of the brain. These type of people to varying degrees can be brainwashed very easily. Left Brain people are people dominated by logic. They are less emotional and very difficult to brainwash. They know how to connect the dots.

The above comment is almost funny but I will say I think for the GOP ticket John McCain would be the ideal candidate
