I was at my daughter' school today. You know how they have the bulletin boards outside of the classrooms to see what the kids have done?

Well, the papers were by 4th graders "If I were president..." granted the majority of the school is military kids, but they all wrote ; "end the war" "too many people are dying" "what if my mom/dad dies" "my mom cries alot" "I miss my mom/dad." I cried when I read them

What it sounds like you don't know is that even though we're losing our military in Iraq "fighting the terrorists" there are just as many right here in the US as we speak just waiting for their chance to blow more of us up. So that knocks down your theory that being in Iraq is keeping them out of the US. No amount of American military in Iraq or any other Middle East country will keep them out of our country and nothing will stop their murdering jihad against Americans and no we'll never be friends with them. This came directly from Marines that have been in Iraq , where do you get your info?
We need to bring our military home and let these freaks kill themselves, they'r pretty at that too, they've been doing it for centuries.

If they're here waiting to launch an attack on us, why would they kill themselves? Oh right, they kill themselves in suicide missions that KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE, INCLUDING AMERICANS.

If nothing will stop them, should America just give up and deal with attacks here at home? Is it over? We're doomed to live in fear for the duration of our lives? They win, right?

No war will stop it. Fixing the mistakes that allowed 9/11 to occur and making sure that the US is secure at home. The line of defence is at our own borders. What will happen is 100s of thousands americans will be out of harms way.

Now if the security, intel, and immigration departmetns get dunding training and some competence 9/11 woudnt have happened and it wont happen again. But with trillons wasted over in IRaq funding is hard to come by.

Most of that comment just doesn't make any sense at all. I have tons of faith is the American military but in a hell hole like Iraq it takes more than military might to "win" any war. It takes all these crazy jihadists to get together and make their own peace or wipe themselves out instead. Why should our guys and girls die for these sub humans that tell their kids from the time they can talk to kill Americans? This is one war that cannot be won militarily. And I for one don't give a good shit what happens in Iraq after we leave, we did our job now let them do theirs. The war on terror??? That's just an old Bush ploy to keep Americans scared but he's wasting his time. We all know they ( the nut case middle east terrorists) are here now just biding their time but am I scared, hell now, all I can say is they better get me first.If you're doomed to live in fear I feel very sorry for you.
