Know Your Rights
The chain of command doesn’t tell you about it but, you have rights. You can join and participate in IVAW. Click here to find out more.
Membership Eligibility:

1. Members have served in the United States Military since September 11, 2001. All recent veterans and active duty servicemen and women from all branches of military service, National Guard members, and reservists are welcome to join our ranks.
   Please provide verification of service, click here for the acceptable paperwork.

1. Members agree to the following three statements:

• Immediate withdrawal of all occupying forces in Iraq;

• Reparations for the human and structural damages Iraq has suffered, and stopping the corporate pillaging of Iraq so that their people can control their own lives and future; and

• Full benefits, adequate health care (including mental health), and other support for returning servicemen and women.

If you are eligible, please fill out the membership form and send it to our office today!

By becoming a member, you are not obligated to the organization in any way at all. Your participation in the organization and our events is in your hands. However, now that you have joined the family, we will look forward to meeting you and will contact you to invite you to events.

Some things to expect as a member of IVAW:

• Connection to hundreds of veterans across the country and around the world

• Invitation to IVAW events (meetings, rallies, activities, etc.)

• Requests to speak with the press

• Requests for participation in special projects with artists, students,
• Requests to participate in/speak at local events

• Supportive network of others like you who understand and care about you

• Training (media, public speaking, organizing, internships, etc.)

Two of my close friends faught in Iraq, and they both came home fucked up in the head. Neither one of them got shot, but the damage is done. They would be the first to tell you; this war is bullshit. One was so twisted in the head when he got home, that his wife coulden't live with him anymore so she took his son and moved back in with her parents. The other one never did a drug in his life before going to Iraq. Now he's the biggest coke-fiend alcoholic I'v ever seen. He told me how one of his army buddies was shot point blank right in front of him by another soliger in the mess hall over some dumb argument. He said he tried to clear the blood out of his mouth with his fingers while he died in his arms. We don't belong in Iraq and never did. I hope someone puts a bullet through one of Bushs' daughters face, and he can watch her die over some bullshit.

I have several others like the gold star families against the war.

You should post some more military groups against the war. There are lots. I am going on vaction, but when I come back I would be glad to trade some links.

I think I will start a thread on what all the mainstream churches have came out and said about this war being wrong when I get back. And there is a lot. The presidents own Methodists church leaders begged him not to start this war, but he wouldn't listen. I have the letter they wrote to Pres. Bush. I will start that thread in a week or so. Because there are some fake Christians on this forum running around saying they are on God's side in supporting this war. Thats a lie and they are giving my religion a black eye.

Most every church in America has issued written condemnation of this war, many before and after it started. I will post that to prove to non Christians and unbelievers that just like there are radical Muslims who are not following their faith butact out their own evil designs. There are radical Christians right here in this country that are not following the teachings of Christ when they support this war. They are doing what Satan wants them to do, wage war.

Dissent is fine, in fact you have the right to protest but to organize active diuty folks to protest is just plain stupid. If a person joins the military they have to know that they might have to fight in a war they don't agree with.

Listen, I'm not a bullshitter. Why would anyone make up something like? I can definatly get that info for you. I don't know how to bring it up with him, that shit fucked him up. But I'll do it. He's a bartender at the local V.F.W. on thrusday nights. So go I'll go up there on thrusday, have a couple beers and get your answers. I saw that episode of intervention, I love that show. But that kid just drank alot and smoked weed, no mention of blow. That kid was a bitch. My man could drink him under the table any day.

Your the most unpatriotic man I have ever seen. How is it we got cowards in this country like you stryker?

I have two young friends who came home from the war injured one lost a leg and is doing fine. The other is filled with shrapnel so he'll never have a day without pain, but his mind is where his pain really lives.

Your comments stryker show how little you honor the sacrifice of our soldiers. Cowards like you prefer to not look at or hear about how they suffer.

Well have a look at these brave young men and women and spout your unpatriotic crap stryker.
