I don't understand the people like stryker who are so delusional they do not understand real soldiers are dying in this senseless unprovoked war.

And then have the nerve to belittle that sacrifice.

It is the strykers of this country who are traitors and unpatriotic. They dishonor our soldiers sacrifices, because they are too cowardly to look at the truth.

Certainly Vets including 20 retired generals, are speaking out against this war. They don't want to see brave soldiers dying for a cause that will never end and cannot be resolved.

You have to be one of the sickest excuses for an American I have ever heard. You rant and rave about the war yet never joined in yourself. Must feel great to be able to bad mouth your country and service men;you are able to do this because of them! I hope your family,friends(if any) etc know how they can count on you, the cut and run coward type. Think next time before you run your mouth,you say how messed up these guys are who came back, yet you never say you lifted a hand to help them. Your a loser any way you turn. Run your mouth act like an ass that's you!!

I am a marine Brat, both of my brothers served. My daughter started the war as a army pharmacist in Kuwait. I belong to the VFW , pack boxes for the troops once a month. Traveled to washington DC with a bus load of world war 2 Vets at their request to document the event in photos and stories of their service. Those VFW vets fight over whos going to buy this little blonde woman lunch when I show up at the VFW .

I give a $100 to project helmet every month trying to bring soldiers home without their brains scrambled and am heavily involved at my local Eagles Lodge with fund raisers for local troops who come home injured.

I baby sit the child often of a young soldier who came home missing a leg from iraq while he and his wife go to school.

I help coordinate work through the VFW . Little things like getting a swing set home and set up for the kids of a soldier serving in iraq.

Thats what I do.

How about you mellow brew? Are you one of those unpatriotic cowards like stryker who prefers to hide your head and not look at what war really is?

Got news for you stupid. Soldiers and innocent people die in wars.

Way to go wvPeach, I have family in the military too and it pisses me off when some of these jerks that have never served act like they know everthing.

What pisses me off is the fact its so easy for those who have never served to send our young men to war to die. I am speaking about most of the congress and Senate. Then they have, as you can obviously see here in this thread, their own chicken heart supporters who feel the same way. Let soldiers die, as long as we don't have to see it or think about it. They are cowards in my book.

If your going to send men and women to die in a war. I think you ought to have to look at and think about it every day. They are dying. This is not fun and games and political debate. Soldiers are dying and being maimed.

I respect and love a lot of soldiers. I was raised in the Marines with my dad. Soldiers don't hide from the pain war causes, because they can't. If the American people are going to send them to war we should support them and see their pain.

I share the pain of every one of our brave soldiers who have been injured in this war. And grieve right along with the families who have suffered the loss of a father, brother, son, daughter in this war.

I read your blogg about the war, and the fact I think you are calling your self a Christian. You state many Churches are against the war yet you never name them, why? You claim to be able to tell real Christians from fake ones, how do you do this? You say some fake christians are running around saying God is for the war and you know God is not saying that so it is a lie!You must be a modern day prophet! you know what I mean ,being able to speak for God himself it;s a gift. One thing I know HE SAID NOT ME is out of the heart the mouth speaks. I know HE,tells us to judge one another (you know the fruits of the spirit thing) but I know he says thats for you to know a man: not to gossip or start rumours etc about each other.I know he deals with each of us one on one, he does not need someone to hold the whole thing togetheras you feel you must do. These churches you talk about need not talk for God he still is able to do this himself and still sits on the throne, we will all answer to him for our actions and what we said he said. You state there are radical christians not following the teachings of Christ because they are for the war. You really need to read the BIBLE a lot more before you make that statement. There is battle after battle which God has allowed, read it, there all there. The bigest battle of all still is between good and evil, which side are you taking when you speak for GOD, did he really tell you to say THUS SAYITH THE LORD and speak for him, if so I said in the shadow of a modern day prophet and stand corrected!I know he did say to lift up one another (the belivers, even,the as you say radical ones) I don't see this happening so this can't be of HIM. Please take a little time and pray to him about what you are about to say he says. Preachers are to teach what HE already said and how to apply it to better our personal lives, don't force others to see it your way HE has that under control as well as the war you are so worried about HE IS NOT WORRIED: HE KNOWS HOW IT WILL TURN OUT

First of all I do not have a blog about the war , so you must be thinking of someone else.

Secondly I never said I was a prophet. I said God spoke to me about what he wanted me to know through the holy spirit. I am just passing on what I know. There is a difference between prophesy and knowledge you know.

Prophesy : To speak about future events.

Knowledge : What one knows through study, revelation , or experience.

Thirdly If I have read the bible once I have read it at least a 1000 times. Been at it at least 30 plus years.

But since mellow brew, you seem to have some bible knowledge as well. let me put the following things out for your consideration. Because unlike your first post, your second shows some reason.

When jesus died on the cross we became new covenant Christians. The new Covenant of Christ is much different than the old testament covenant.

The old testament battles and any authority for war ended with Christ. This will be easy to prove to yourself. Let me suggest a way to do that.

Go to walmart or some cheap store and buy a cheap copy of the KJVersion of the bible. Start by praying before each bible reading and asking God to remove any false teachings of men from your mind and heart. Ask God to send the holy Spirit to teach you truth and open your understanding of the scriptures. God will do this for you if your persistent and really want to know him and the truth.

Then take two different colored high lighters and start reading the New testament. Each time you find a verse where Christ or the Apostles taught Peace, love for all, and not to resist evil high light it in one color.

When you find a verse where they even got angry, or talked about violence high light it in another color.

You should be able to read the New testament in about a week, a month at worst. If you do that praying each time you read, you'll learn truth s you never knew and will read it again and again and again all the while God will teach you new truth. After your done go back and look at the colored marks. You'll find very little that speak of anger or violence. Because jesus was not called the Prince Of Peace for nothing. Jesus is the prince of Peace.

Jesus said Resist not evil, turn the other cheek , forgive 7 x 70 , vengeance belongs to God , God will repay, love your enemies, feed and clothe your enemies. And Jesus said he who lives by the sword will die by the sword.

Ask any preacher and he will tell you we are under a new covnenant,the covenant of Jesus which is all Peace and Love for the followers of Christ.

Then you can always tell the ones who are deceived by Satan and doing his work unawares because they will say, oh but its okay to have this war because the old testament is full of them. That is not right. We are under Jesus's covenant and not the old. Ask them so your under both covenants? No, they will say, I am under the new. Then ask them where the new says they can wage war and kill people? They will sputter and go back to the old. So then ask, do you still have animal sacrifices and public circumcision ceremonies too? Do you keep the Sat sabbath? Do you rub blood over your door each passover? They will hedge and say no we are under the new covenant of Christ. Thats how you know a deceived person when you meet them. Wars are old covenant.

Christs teachings have nothing to do with wars for those who truly follow Christ. There is no teaching of war under Jesus. New covenant Christians are to follow Christs commands.

Not until his second coming which is told of in revelation . Then it is Jesus who will return with armies of angels to fight the battles. Not, we his followers. Jesus is going to fight the battle when he returns.

Vengeance belongs to God, he will repay.

At any rate. There is no way to justify a pre -emptive war for a christian in the bible. You can make a argument that if somebody was standing front of you trying to kill you God would say its okay to kill them first.

But there is no teaching of Jesus that justifies attacking a country half a world away that was not attacking us. And killing thousands of innocent children with bombs.

But its not the soldiers who are at fault for that. It is the men who sent them there. And those who support them. Your right mellow brew God knows the heart and actions of each of us. We all will be judged for what we do and think.

I am not telling anybody what to think, I know what I know because God has taught it to me. I am passing that knowledge on.

So, I hope we can have other productive discussions on the topic one day.Perhaps after I come back from vacation.

If one of my loved ones was injured or killed i would want the whole world to stop and take notice.

I would plaster their broken battered body on every tree post and newscast I could find.


Stop world A soldier died today.

A hero died today.

Absolutely I would want the world to stop and mourn with me.

In fact one of these pictures is a friend of mine . I am not identifying yet. He has since died of infection and his wife has not yet told me to post his name. As soon as she gives permission. I am going to set up a web site to raise money for his widow and infant daughter.
