Notice that the Bush Administration is no longer trumpeting democracy, freedom, blah...blah..blah...anymore. They just want security in Iraq....first and foremost...and it doesn't matter who provides the security whether it be the Sunni tribal leaders, the Shia religious leaders, etc. It's certainly not the central, "democratic" government...that's for sure. I hate to say it...but it's probably the best approach given the situation. It only took the GWB and his team 5 years to become somewhat pragmatic....for others, it is obviously taking much longer.
