No shit. Great idea. As I once heard the tax payer or their children will owe 20,000 plus a piece.

Seriously the military has always stated they were not & are not trained to do nation rebuilding. Their job is to fight wars. In Europe the nations there have specific military components for nation rebuilding. Obviously because they have been closer to these type of situations, they understand that gun slinging is only one small part...like in Iraq in the first month....for example.

The depth of stupidity is amazing. During Dry drunks run he was stating on the campaign trail, in response to Bosnia, 'we don't do nation building'. Yet 6 years of occupation later in spite of the military understanding that there NEEDS to be a nation building component, they are just now ass backwardsly attempting, through the very military that is not trained to do this, to pathetically nation build by giving people....trash collecting jobs.

There are some very choice quotes from him and Cheney about the nation building thing that go further as per Iraq too. Yes, exactly everything they philosphically (not very deep thought though) they were for went totally in the shit can and everything they ignored and said is wrong from the United Nations and everyone else in the military and around the world is what they are stuck dealing with. They could not have been more wrong on this.

Well more enemys have been made and lots of life and money lossed. But I dont see the need to throw more into afghinstan. Nothings different there. Its all waste of money and time.
