Yes there was a lot of loving attention to detail in that plan...we know because we saw the fruits of their labor of Love.
As far as Bush he was not only not mean to them he was quite thankful & acquiesced to their dreams & aspirations by taking U.S. bases out of S.A. & attacking Bin Ladens nemesis Saddam.
When 'the base' of both apposing camps play...everybody in 'the base' wins.
The rest of us...divided & conquered.

Whatever, it doesn't matter. The point is they hated us in the 90's and before...and they hate us now. Hell, they planned the attack while Clinton was making nicey-nice with the world and we thought everyone loved us (laughable). We showed them.
They hated us before we went to Iraq (mistake or not) and they will hate us when we leave Iraq. They will hate us if we surrender. They will hate us if we turn on Israel, forgive world debt, feed Africa, impeach Bush, and get Ellen her damn dog back. There is nothing political or economic that can help. The war is not about poverty and other such nonsense (never was). This is not complicated at all until politics enters the equation. Pretty simple really. This would sound like Dr. Seuss if I could make it rhyme.

They hate America because we meddle in there domestic affairs. Assasinating there leaders, invading there neighbors, and exploiting there oil.
Any statement to the contrary is wrong, and not supported by teh 911 commision or the CIA.

This is Jimmy Carter horseshit. Of course they want the US gone, who doesn't think that? Beyond that the evidence is not on your side.

I think the big difference in before to after 9/11 is the fact that Bush has demonstrated for all Arabs the fact the US is aggressively seeking to destroy Arabs and rob them of their oil, etc.

No, the implication is that Bush's fuck up in Iraq has spiked recruiting to new levels.

It is simple only in your child like mind. Dr Seuss would be a bit advanced for you yet, but keep reading, you'll get it eventually!
Look at your first sentence, the classic response from someone without a valid argument to make...

But it makes them look petty if we say they hate us because we're rich and free!!! doesn't matter if there is any truth to it, it's a damn good sound bite for the koolaid drinkers.
Demonization works really well in keeping the public on the politico's side.

No. The point is they don't need the US in Iraq to hate the US. Their levels will grow regardless. You are naive if you think their hatred is anything other than internally driven. They want to blow us up and the dirty little secret is they want your side blown up too.
