Philadelphia has become to the most dangerous city inside the USA...

Philadelphia has a higher murder rate than Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, all cities with much higher populations... (gee, a muder a day, almost as high as Iraq)

Police in Philadelphia say that there are chronic problems causing the higher murder rates, and they're at a loss as to how things can be reversed...
Ineffective gun laws, poverty, drug abuse, gang intimidation, execution style killings--is this Iraq or Philadelphia?

I am at a loss for words on this issue... Why is the crime rate so high now?

Let me see.....Does the Mayor of Philadelphia happen to be a Democrat?

Its the babblings of Rush limbaugh dick sucker to put crime rate up to the circus sideshow of partisan poltics. Philly has had a problem for a long time. Law enforcement needs to understand that inner city crime is more organized then they think.

No, Im just saying that Liberal Democrats are usually soft on crime in their policy making decisions. Now, I'm not saying that a Republican Mayor cannot be in charge of a crime ridden city, but the odds were in my favor that it's a Liberal Democrat in charge in Phili and probably a corrupt one at that.

Lets look at the politcal picture in all crime ridden cities.I see predominately republcian led cities as highest crime.

Republican Waterbury Mayor Philip Giordano, convicted of sexually abusing two preteen girls inside City Hall and other locations, was sentenced Friday to 37 years in federal prison. Giordano was convicted in March of violating the civil rights of the two girls by forcing them to have oral sex with him in City Hall, his law office, home, and elsewhere. The girls were ages 8 and 10 at the time. He also was convicted of conspiring with a prostitute who is the mother of one girl and aunt of the other, and with using an interstate device, a cell phone, to arrange the liaisons. ``Your conduct is the worst I have ever seen. I've seen drug dealers, murderers. What you did is indescribable,'' U.S. District Judge Alan Nevas told the former Republican mayor in announcing the sentence. ``You, sir, are a sexual predator.'' Giordano did not speak during the sentencing hearing. He could have faced a life sentence under federal guidelines, but the judge chose a lesser sentence based on Giordano's cooperation in a federal investigation of political corruption in Waterbury. Giordano still faces state charges on the allegations.
