There are "IF's" about it. Iraq has descended into a chaotic civil war, and Bush's mis-management, geo-political ambitions, and incomptetence has our troops caught in the middle of it.

The facts are had lets say England or France had intervened in the American Civil War, these countries would have taken on casualties just like our American soldiers are taking on causalties from the civil war in Iraq.
