"Does anybody here know ...
how to play this game?" -Casey Stengel
Four years ago, the Sunnis wanted to "work" with the U.S., but they didn't want to work with the Shia-dominated government. Bush & Co. told 'em to fuck off, and the Sunni insurgency then went about killing a lot of Americans. Now the Sunni warloads are our best friends in the world (it's costing us $$$ in bribes) and Bush is blathering about all the progress being made in Anbar Province. Of course, this all comes at the expense of our own Bush lap-sitter in Baghdad.
1) Does the sumbitch have any real plan for Iraq other than to hold on until he can dump the entire mess in somebody else's lap?
2) After $1 trillion and 3000 dead GIs, are we back to the same square we were in when Rummy was doing the elephant walk with Saddam?

>>>Been there, done that, wouldn't mind going back. I suppose you're too young to recall the incessant, harping, hissy fits thrown by Armey, DeLay, Lott and then-governor Bush about Clinton's nation-building in Somalia and Bosnia.
