Default Only Republicans can go to Syria ...

...or at least that's what I think Republicans are trying to say. Why is it whenever some Republican gets the urge to take the week off and play dignitary, it's just fine with the wingers, but if Nancy wants to visit a foreign country, she's subverting Bush's foreign policy?

Btw, didn't I just see McCain in Iraq yesterday???

george, you have made a valid point here. Nancy can go where she wants, but will it end up in legislation that will help America?

george, you missed my point. The point is that she hasn't come up with any new policies yet. Yes they have only had control since Jan but they have spent years complaining when they should have been thinking and planning for when they got control.

"The point is that she hasn't come up with any new policies yet."

>>>What can she do? She still have a virtually deadlocked congress and an obtuse president to deal with.

She could take her plan to the American people. I bet her plan is the same one that Kerry had, but wouldn't tell anyone about.

BS. If that was true, why the subterfuge and pork to get the "Date of Surrender" package?

I didn't say 70% of the congress. I said 70% of America.

Still bull-shit. If there was that much support, the politicians would have been tripping over each other to say they voted for a pork free get-em-out bill now.
