Now wait a minute...
What's up with this shit...is he telling us that Bush making us safer is just an illusion and once he leaves office all the Homeland Security measures that Bush has put in place and have protected us since 9/11 will no longer protect us?
Lieberman: Terrorists may strike in 2009 - The Connecticut Post Online
Quote:
WASHINGTON — The White House gave credence Monday to Sen. Joe Lieberman's weekend assertion that terrorists could very well strike inside the United States early on in the next presidency.
"I think Sen. Lieberman, unfortunately, could be right. And the only reason I say that is because we know that there are people who are very dangerous who are trying to attack us every day," said White House Press Secretary Dana Perino.
In an appearance Sunday on CBS's "Face the Nation," Lieberman suggested that the threat of a terrorist attack early in the next administration is the reason that voters need to elect Sen. John McCain president because the Republican is "ready to be commander in chief on Day 1."
"Why? Because our enemies will test the new president early," Lieberman said. "Remember that the truck bombing of the World Trade Center happened in the first year of the Clinton administration; 9/11 happened in the first year of the Bush administration. John McCain is ready to take the reins on Jan. 20, 2009. He doesn't need any training."

Oh great, we will be attacked and McCain is prepared to stand on the pile of rubble...

Could Lieberman be correct? Has Bush really done that little to protect us from terrorism?

Heck yeah...it would be easy to terrorize this country...a discussion that I refuse to expand upon...I just get a kick out of the argument that, "Well, we haven't had another attack on our soil since 9/11" and that is suppose to prove we are safe...why then is Lieberman saying this?

There will probably be an attack after Obama becomes President.
Then Americans will see a formal surrender to the Al Qaida and Americans will be walking around with a bullseye on their backs, as Democrats get Secret Service protection.

Why did you think that?
Did one of your checks get returned, uncashed?
(Sorry, it was too easy of a target!)
