It's hard to get a feel for the direction that the U.S. public would like it's foreign policy to tack these days. This is an honest question and I'm simply curious.
It seems that the media doesn't provide any valuable insight anymore (pundits preaching self-serving garbage), and the current administration has yet to explain anything truthfull about tangible strategic objectives that they're hoping for.
The middle and far-east have become so unstable as a direct result of "Western interests" (I'd like that defined specifically) that I can't concieve a positive outcome -in any event.
In the "Grand Scheme of things", The only reason (I can think of) that the U.S.A would behave as it has, is to secure a global stronghold on the worlds energy supply and thus allow it to keep China and India on a very short leash.
"Slaves" to the Western masters concerning their economic growth?
Well, I hope that I'm wrong. The last time the U.S. played that game........Pearl Harbour was attacked and the rest is history. Only this time,
China IS the most powerfull military/cultural force on earth (despite what we're told) and Global Catastrophy would be the only result.
Anyway, I'm just wondering what everbody else is thinking.
