Yep. Private health insurance should be made illegal with offenders given mandatory 15-year sentences.

Under what law....would our tax funds be channeled to pay for private insurance premiums? The only way to enact health coverage over the entire state....would be private insurance carries....as the majority of Californians would not fall into federal guidelines to meet the requirements for federal funding of taxpayer support....ie....the federal social welfare systems...as even people from California can push their noses in the air at the feds for so long...without recompense....if they fail to follow federal guidelines....funding will cease. >>>As I understand the current plan, Arnie intends to raise the revenue through general taxation and add a 4% tax on healthcare providers. He wants to maintain private insurance companies, but the Cal legislature wants to do away with them entirely, and Arnie is caving in. I agree with the legislature. 30 cents on every private healthcare dollar goes to executive Lear Jets.

Btw, California has the 4th largest economy in the world. Federal funding won't cease.

Like I said its their state funds...let them do as they will...if they can save enough money from waste to provide funding for one person...it is worth it....but I still fail to see how the federal government would match health care funding....if the ones being funded failed to meet specific guidelines....like the other 49 states must do to have said funds matched.
