The one and only purpose of talk radio is to draw a large audience of the desired demographic so as to make it easy for the station's sales staff to sell time to advertisers.
It's a BUSINESS, that's all.
Personally, I like Neal Boortz. He's a Libertarian, but he disagrees with the Libertarian Party's isolationist position on the Global War Against Islamofascism. Pretty much my general position on things, more or less.
From a pure business standpoint, Rush Limbaugh beats 'em all. He even outdraws Franken in listening audience numbers by 3-to-1 in New York City! Air America has to PAY stations to carry their show, and Rush is a gold mine who makes big bucks for his stations. Is this good or bad? I don't know. It just IS.
