When I first heard about this story I thought to myself

"please let this have been put forward by someone without kids".

Childless people, especially gay ones, are the people who always seem to be the biggest experts on child rearing. It is hilarious.

But, by calling this cunt a slag, the left will get mad but it is okay for Senator Bagel Boxer to bring up the irrelevant subject when question the SecState.

Children aren't little adults and don't have the means to comprehend their actions. Spanking? I spanked sparingly when my daughters turned 2 and haven't spanked since they were 4 years old. I guess I should be in jail.

I have never spanked my children, but that is a personal decision, I certainly don’t think the government should have any say in how a parent disciplines their children, providing it is absent of abuse. An occasional swat on the rump never hurt anyone.

George; the kids were only spanked if we specifically asked them NOT to do something and after the 2nd time they did they got a swat on the bottom. We did not beat our kids. Nice insuation though.

Typical Republican. Maybe you can get your Dobsonian congressman to codify the difference between a 130# woman smacking her 3-year old on the fanny and a 200# man whipping his child across the back with a belt. I can't.
