So he was confused and Libby and Rove didn't actually tell him they had nothing to do with the Plame outing...he was confused and mistaken that Bush confirmed that he had declassified some stuff?

If there is nothing to it, why is Bushco circling the wagons?

The part that you're not getting in all of this is that McClellan isn't bringing up anything that many of us hadn't already realized...he's just adding color and the argument that he isn't an insider is pretty lame since he came with Bush from Texas.

David Gregory just asked the question..."Are political insiders ever justified in betraying their bosses?"

Interesting question.

Let's put this into an interesting perspective...

Who is Bush's boss?

One could argue as Scott has that Bush was deceived by Cheney/Rove/Rice et al.

Ok, so they betrayed their boss...Bush, who in turn betrayed his boss...US.

I have the same thing on in the other room.

I think the comment is truthful about nobody being this close the center has confirmed so much that has gone wrong with a presidency so soon. As said, this all is nothing new but it really knocks the legs out from under people like Karl Rove and Dick Cheney who have made a mass of excuses for the BS that has been going on.

The facts are this is all going down and coming out without a SPECIAL PROSECUTOR (a Ken Starr). Clinton was followed around for a long time and all that was found was a blow job and a lie about a blow job, nothing else. With the current presidency this has all now come out by the shear fact Bushco has screwed up royally.

Let me just suggest that your argument would be that much stronger if you eliminated the superfluous part that I underlined...try reading it without that part...just a thought.

Agreed, sorry for the put down; I wrote this with a very stupid person in mind ...such as wow...you have to explain everything to him. Otherwise, I would not have to use extra words and it would be clearly understood by a person who understands Socratic sylogism (such as yourself).

Yes, the point is clear and cannot better outline the difference between Clinton and Bush...at this point it is comparing apples and oranges.
