Default Obama's spending debt

ElectionWatch: Hey Big Spender! Media Fail to Report Cost of Campaign Promises

The vast majority of the programs in candidates’ platforms seem to have gone unnoticed in the media. Some examples:

* Obama, whose $287 billion in promises eclipses the other candidates, promoted a ‘Zero to Five’ plan to spend $10 billion every year on expanding Early Head Start and Head Start programs and providing child care for working families, among other initiatives. None of the networks mentioned Obama and the Head Start program or his “Zero to Five” initiative label in the last six months.

* Obama has proposed doubling foreign aid to $50 billion over the next five years. Only one story in the last six months has even mentioned Obama and foreign aid at the same time – it was an interview with Republican candidate Rep. Ron Paul (Texas).

* Clinton has supported helping “working people earn enough to support their families and help them save for the future” to the tune of $7.5 billion over the next five years through the Unemployment Insurance Modernization Act. The networks haven’t mentioned it.

* Clinton proposed $1.75 billion annually to extend paid medical leave to guarantee seven sick days per year and ensure access to “affordable, high quality childcare” in the workplace. Not even a blip on the network radar screen.

All of that spending is still less than we have spent in the occupation of Iraq. More spending to actually help Americans instead of killing Americans and Iraqis. Thanks for the info. More reasons Barack Obama has my vote now. Four more years of Bush---Vote for McInsane.

Of course, we do not want to remember 911.
That was that day over $1 Trillion was lost in a few hours.
One day of terror attacks cost more than the war on terrorism, the New Orleans levee scam and what little Obama has told us about his deficit spending.
If you do not want to pay your fair share, Venezuela may be a better place for you.
We know one Democrat stole $500,000 connected to the war on terrorism, I wonder how many billion$ more all Democrats have stolen from our troops in combat?

What compels a partisan to deliberately disconnect from all reality like the Troll Wowza?

Who could posibly be served in this way?

Why do Republicans permit such stupidity?

ALL Politicians should serve 25 years in prison (No parole) for any type of class A misdemeanor and felony crimes.
That includes Republicans.

We can always count on you for a well thought out, and eloquently stated, retort.

Actually the Spartans had a pretty good system. They had five Presidents, with one replaced each year. The President leaving office had to face charges from ANY citizen who brought charges against them. Bet that kept them honest.

News & Culture in CA | Dianne Feinstein resigns
SEN. Dianne Feinstein has resigned from the Military Construction Appropriations subcommittee. As previously and extensively reviewed in these pages, Feinstein was chairperson and ranking member of MILCON for six years, during which time she had a conflict of interest due to her husband Richard C. Blum's ownership of two major defense contractors, who were awarded billions of dollars for military construction projects approved by Feinstein.
The MILCON subcommittee is not only in charge of supervising military construction, it also oversees "quality of life" issues for veterans, which includes building housing for military families and operating hospitals and clinics for wounded soldiers. Perhaps Feinstein is trying to disassociate herself from MILCON's incredible failure to provide decent medical care for wounded soldiers.

US: Saddam paid for lawmakers' Iraq trip - Yahoo! News
WASHINGTON - Saddam Hussein's intelligence agency secretly financed a trip to Iraq for three U.S. lawmakers during the run-up to the U.S.-led invasion, federal prosecutors said Wednesday.
An indictment unsealed in Detroit accuses Muthanna Al-Hanooti, a member of a Michigan nonprofit group, of arranging for three members of Congress to travel to Iraq in October 2002 at the behest of Saddam's regime. Prosecutors say Iraqi intelligence officials paid for the trip through an intermediary.

Nigerian link led to FBI raid in corruption case - International Herald Tribune
WASHINGTON: The FBI raided the Maryland home of the vice president of Nigeria last summer in search of bribe money that the bureau believed had been paid to him by Representative William Jefferson, according to court documents.

The documents released Tuesday included an affidavit signed by an FBI agent who said that the Nigerian vice president, Atiku Abubakar, now a candidate for president of that oil-rich West African country, asked for at least half of the profits of a technology company controlled by Jefferson that was seeking to do business in Nigeria.

About the same time last year, the documents said, Jefferson told colleagues of his plans to bribe Nigerian officials, including Abubakar, in exchange for their help in winning business in Nigeria, and that Abubakar would be paid as much as $500,000 in cash.
