Default Conspiracies

I was inspired to create this after watching a neat documentary on the History channel. And yes, we do get that over here. It is called Sky TV.

For every major tragedy that happens, a government conspiracy is blamed. Happened for the 1st WTC attack. Happened with the Oklahoma City Bombing. Happening now. Stupidity at it's finest.

Yes, there are gov't "cover ups" but eventually some one somewhere leaks the info so it can't be considered a conspiracy. Can anyone really keep a secret...no.

Skewed poll. You should title it "Goverment malfeasance" Using the catch all phrase conspiracy onlly serves to gain the desired result from your poll. Conspiracy is suggestive thus your poll in not objective, and "maybe" why not include "all of the above" or "true false"

I would mostly agree but some do come true such as the Bay of Pigs. I totally discount the 9/11 cpnspiracy as BS but some conspiracies seem t be coming to light such as the North American superhighway and the North American Union. Only time will tell, these are two they couldn't really cover up but were started online and on Coast to Coast AM, the conspiracy headquarters.

Just to echo Ladyofmts post, There are probably 2 or 3 conspiracies to cover up, going on right now involving Scooter Libby and Jack Abramoff. They will eventually be found out.

Lightbulb if you dismiss the 9-11 "conspiracy"...

...then I assume you could answer a few questions: 1. Why did Building 7 of the wtc collapsed? (not hit by an airplane) 2. How did fire collapsed the steel-frame towers at freefall speed when fire has never collapsed any other steel-frame building? 3.How did a boeing 757 crashed in the Pentagon leaving but a small hole and no significant debris, passengers, blood, wings, large engines?
...more questions, pics, videos, articles and analisys regarding 9-11 at: www.hugequestions.com
Take the challenge!

Angry WTC disaster a fantasy?

For all of those who have taken heart in the notion that GWB and friends collapsed the towers, should read last month's issue of Popular Mechanics where they dispell this nonsense once and for all. As for me, I was in NYC that day on my way to an appointment and I was actually in Chinatown on Mott Street which was a scant few blocks away. I heard the 2nd plane hit, saw the flame and I gotta tell you all, it gets so annoying to think that there are actually people who live in this country who would rather blame a President whom they just don't like than read a history book or do some research on the vermin who committed these acts of terror. In 1993, I was on a volunteer ambulance corps. and we were sent into NYC for the 1st WTC bombing. Obviously, that was nothing compared with what was to follow. The biggest problem our government(s) had was not taking the threat seriously enough and being to damn lazy, spoiled and comfortable in our little bubble to think something like that would happen on our shores. These attacks on Americans began back in 1983 in beruit with the attacks on the Marine barracks. In hindsight, Regan should have been more aggressive than he was and did little. When we threw Hussein out of Kuwait, Bush Sr. should have taken hussein out then and there and has since expressed regret. However, it was a UN sanctioned invasion and the rules were the rules. Get him out of there and come home. Then we had 8 years of Clinton and there were attachs aplenty. The '93 attack on WTC, the Kobar towers, the U.S.S. Cole, the attacks against U.S. interests in Africa and again Hussein's expelling weapons inspectors in 1998. Like the rest of the world, Clinton talked big signing the Plan to Overthrow Saddam Hussein in 1998, but of course did little. Talk is cheap, you know. Which brings us to GWB who had 9 months of blame in this whole mess and yet bears the brunt and has to engage ignorant asses like the gentleman who is convinced that this whole war has been nothing but a shill. Maybe you can write Charlie Sheen, Michael Moore and the rest of that ilk and fantasize yourselves to a point where you guys might be able to convince yourselfs that you can nail Elle McPhearson, heather Locklear and Linsay Lohan all in the same night. Or perhaps you can move on to more intelligent things like Parcheessee.

Give me a break.

Steve, that is some pretty strong stuff there. Especially with all the personal accounts you've had with the incidents. Posts like that are the ones I enjoy reading the most. Keep it up!

By the way, are you a New Yorker?
