I am personally facinate by the CIA-LSD conspiracy. For those of you who are unfamiliar, read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MKULTRA . MKULTRA was project name (not a Russian spammer's name!) of LSD innovation. The CIA thought that they could create a mind control drug, and they produced LSD as a result. They tested it out on average Joe on the streets, sometimes slipping it into his drink at a CIA operated brothel (to cover up what they were actuallydoing) or even asking poor Joe if he wanted to be part of a government experiment. Joe didn't know what he was in for, except some money. Now LSD is on the black market as a popular drug of choice. Can the government be at blame or even sued for introducing such a chemical?

No, I was raised in Bergen County, NJ which is about 10 minutes from the George Washington Bridge. But, I had spent so many years in the city that it was almost like a second home in many respects. I have lived in Maine for almost 3 years now. The biggest city from here is Boston and while I like Boston a lot, it's not New York. No place is. Not even London...and I absolutely fell in love with London when I visited there.

I believe that the real conspiracies are never discussed or found out. If I have heard of it, it probably is not valid- but I am wrong alot!

You didn't specify the US either, so it is valid to say that OTHER governments conspire against the US as we do to other governments. True?

Don't be afraid of the "conspiracy theory" label. Just don't believe too much I guess.

How can you discount the events at the Pentagon when you were not even there? I ride motorcycles on the weekends with a guy who was assigned to the Pentagon when 9-11 happened. He was on the grounds of the Pentagon and saw with his own eyes, the plane come in and hit it.

Tell me all heart, how many people were involved in this conspiracy. You guys have an answer for everything else, how about answering that.

If it was a big planned plot why did Flight 93 not "strike" its target?
If it was planned to be a passenger revolt, why are there constant allegations that it was shot down?

I usually do not believe most theories that are classified as conspiracy theories although I would always read and analyze and be open. I do not think 9/11 was a conspiracy but I do think there are unanswered questions that do need addressed concerning NORAD and Bush refusing to read the report that stated exactly what was being planned(I watched Rice testify to giving this report to Bush and that he never read or responded to it)at the 9/11 commission hearings

I confess I did fall for a moment into Bush's conspiriacy theory (he actually scared me) the night of March 2003 when he told of not waiting for a few more weeks for the UN inspectors full report on Iraq weapons inspectors because waiting and planning a few weeks could mean we were likely to go up in a dark mushroom cloud. The dim lights and his squinted eyes kind of affected me but I now know that was a hoax.

I think conspiracy is more likely to occur in questionable business dealings but could happen within a government. I would need absolute proof and much evidence to follow it.

Lots of pictures of aircraft debris at the Pentagon. And your side has the problem of the hundreds of eyewitnesses that SAW the crash.

Do you believe that governments tell you the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth? The secrecy of a government itself can be considered a continuous collaboration of thousands of people. I've worked on projects myself that I've never been able to discuss except with close co-workers who participated in the same project at the time of the project all the while surrounded by a huge work force who was unaware of what we were doing.

do you believe that you live your lives seeking absolute truth and knowledge about ANYTHING?
Do you make the effort to find out more than what you are spoon fed?
If knowing the truth
( and of course..ACTING on it )

When did the truth of evil threats from elements of the mid east
( who actually proclaimed their intent ) become enough concern for you to act?

Imagine if America had pulled together and made it a real policy to neutralize US dependence on the mid east AND act covertly to destabilize and otherwise "neutralize" hostile regimes.
THEN.. in 1973..
or even in 1977 or even in 1983
when they KILLED over three hundred marines in two bombings.
For normal people.. THAT was an act of War..
