I don't know that anyone on the right wants to move toward the middle, nor do I know if anyone on the left does either. Thats why I ask you to use you grand persuasiveness to effect such movement. All in the spirit of getting this country on track.

Little late to do anything about that. Besides didn't the liberal left congressmen approve the spending of that money, too? Even since the last election Congress has given Bush every dime he's ask for, without much of a fight.

I really thought the Democrats wanted to bring the troops home, now I don't think thats the case.

Yeah, both parties have shifted way to the right in the last several decades...

I think the Republicans are about as far to the right as one can go....and the Democrats are hurrying to catch up.....
