I think that the real goal in Iraq is to establish a Democratic ally in the ME. To do this we have to take care of the people, as much as we can.

The real reason we are in Iraq?....To protect our own asses..as it should be...a means to an end....that end being...a soverign democracy....right in the heart of the beast...creating an ally. This is the theory behind the action...but as always...all does not go as blueprinted.....but as my grandad always said...."YOU CAN TELL A GOOD CARPENTER...BY THE WAY HE COVERS IS MISTAKES....NOT JUST EYEWASHING TO GET PAID".....mistakes have been made..this is all but obvious...and any that says different is in a state of denial....but this does not mean all is lost.....for if weakness is confirmed due to our impatience.....it will in the end mean more cost of lives...american lives.....WE BROKE IT....WE BOUGHT IT.....IT IS OURS TO FIX.....stop all the bitching...whinnning...crying...Roll up your sleves...get to the work of doing what is needed. It may seem that way, however, could their support base grow? They were at one time backed by at least one major corporation. It takes only one person to plan a major terrorist attack, and only a handful to carry it out. Financing would be handled the same way 9/11 was, by the rich that sympathize.
