Which is it Mom? What do you support? Are we really in Iraq to help muslim people or are we there to kill them?

I think that the real goal in Iraq is to establish a Democratic ally in the ME. To do this we have to take care of the people, as much as we can.

The real reason we are in Iraq?....To protect our own asses..as it should be...a means to an end....that end being...a soverign democracy....right in the heart of the beast...creating an ally. This is the theory behind the action...but as always...all does not go as blueprinted.....but as my grandad always said...."YOU CAN TELL A GOOD CARPENTER...BY THE WAY HE COVERS IS MISTAKES....NOT JUST EYEWASHING TO GET PAID".....mistakes have been made..this is all but obvious...and any that says different is in a state of denial....but this does not mean all is lost.....for if weakness is confirmed due to our impatience.....it will in the end mean more cost of lives...american lives.....WE BROKE IT....WE BOUGHT IT.....IT IS OURS TO FIX.....stop all the bitching...whinnning...crying...Roll up your sleves...get to the work of doing what is needed. No matter what red or blue state you come from....when we bleed...it all is red...its time to get on with being a country...not a demography of voter base. If one loses all lose....BD

Oh if that were only true. The world would be so much safer if the mujahideen were cut from the same cloth as the so-called extremist Phelps family. As radical as they are compared to real Christians in this country they still haven't bombed, shot, beheaded, tortured, or burned anyone to death inside the U.S. let alone in any other country. All they do is protest, act like idiots, and make normal people mad. So you are wrong and THERE IS NO COMPARISON.

No one said any such thing, so please stop lying and stop trying to make a political issue out of this because when terrorists strike they do not ask if you're Republican or Democrat before they kill you.

What difference does it make to you? You obviously support the terrorists.

It may seem that way, however, could their support base grow? They were at one time backed by at least one major corporation. It takes only one person to plan a major terrorist attack, and only a handful to carry it out. Financing would be handled the same way 9/11 was, by the rich that sympathize.

There is NO such thing as Islamophobia because Muslims throughout the world have legitmized every negative thing that has been said against them.

Any time there is a generalization, it shows a phobia.

To even try to make a link there is absolutely sick.

That is simply a matter of opinion. Mine just happens to differ.

Thes emorons keep insisting incorrectly as always that Iraq was a islamic fundy nation. Now they think these fuckers would lift a finger for them. They fought a brutal war with Iran for almost a decade and easily wamred up to them in the face of American agression. The idea that you will force democracy on them and it will hold, the idea that they will love american after this, the idea that they love you know that your not butchering them that you havent fucked that area up worse then at ever was all comes from a fat ass ignorat okie that has the balls to tell me Im the idiot. Are you out of your mind??.
A few dozen people staging non-violent crazy protests on street corners in their own country in the name of their religion is in NO way equal to hundreds of thousands of people moving from one country to another and committing genocide, suicide bombings, shootings, decapitations, burning innocent men, women and chidlren alive, and torturing millions in the name of their religion.
It is not a matter of opinion and there is NO comparison. So, I'm sorry to have to put it this way, but any attempt to make a comparison between the two is just plain stupid.
