Whether or not we consider them terrorists, the FBI certainly does. I stumbled onto a website for ELF once and was talking about it with some friends at their local shop since the info there was quite shocking. A customer turned out to be an FBI agent, showed me his badge and all, and told me to very careful about my internet interaction with ELF since their website was being closely monitored as was anyone who corresponded with them regularly. And, btw, this was pre-9/11 and certainly pre Patriot Act.

Their destruction of property is wrong. They invited me to a picketing of Burger King and showed me some really gross footage. I support picketing, but not destruction of property or endangering people. That's as wrong as the bombing of abortion clinics. I don't support animal cruelty or abortion, but ELF goes way too far.

I have no clue. I have never researched or knowlingly come into contact with a member of either of these groups. I would assume they condone the violence if they are a member unless they some members are kept in the dark about the criminal aspects of the groups. At any rate even those who do not participate in the destruction or violence , but are aware of it should be considered conspirators.

I do not know a lot about this group except what I read in my local paper. There is trial in progress and several members are being prosecuted. I have only followed the local story and not national stories.

They also threatened to kill my family . I had some Hell's Angels buddies back then , I was not worried . But are they terrorists ? Yeah you could use that discription for cowardly , smelly , threatening ...yeah I suppose so .

This is the group that also puts spikes in trees that are going to be cut down. Their intent is to hurt people so that people can't hurt the enviorment.

They came to my shop and saw I had the long hair and beard and they ACTUALLY assumed I was sympathetic to there cause . These jerks wanted me to teach them to cut hardened door locks . I said sure and a buddy of mine was able to set up a sting operation when they thought HE was sympathetic . I have never wanted to be a cop (too many rules) but I enjoyed that immensely . BTW they threatened to kill me

I take your flippant remark to mean you endorse ALF/ELF.

Much more sharp to be "unregistered" and comment on someone. You are cool.
