Exclamation For those backing Bush's "T.W.A.T."

We have made it clear to all nations, if you harbor terrorists, you are just as guilty as the terrorists; you're an enemy of the United States, and you will be held to account G.W. Bush August 31, 2006

Pakistan?...........Is'nt the reason that Bush stopped looking for Osama because he is hiding in Pakistan?

So then according to Bush, Pakistan is just as guilty as the terrorists and an enemy of the USA and will be held accountable.

So where is the action? Any of you Bush war against terror supporters care to clear this up for the rest of us Americans?

Petey, I wish that I could clear this up for all Americans, but as you well know, the reasons will probably never be known to us.

Petey, Mushraff has a very weak government. Any activity by the US would lose him support. I think that this is a situation that we really need to pay attention to. He recently signed a peace agreement giving the Taliban control of one of the provinces. This is really scary since they ARE a declared nuclear state.

Bush was clear on his words.

Petey, I really don't believe that Bush is fighting the war he sold to the US citizens. Pakistan and our open southern border are just two of those reasons. However, I really don't think that it is prudent to go into Pakistan right now. Too many irons in the fire so to speak.

Well no matter what either of us think Bush has gone against his own words.
If he was so sure that Osama was responsible for 9/11 then he would have gotten Osama and not Saddam.

It will only not be known if you dont want it to be known. This is exactly what he expects of us. I'm not taking a back seat and letting him get away with 9/11 so easily.

I see your point Petey, but this is not neccessarily a national issue. When Bush says, "if you harbor terrorists, you are just as guilty as the terrorists; you're an enemy of the United States, and you will be held to account", he is not neccessarily speaking to the whole nation in which the terrorists are located. The times "you" would refer to a nation would be when those in power are sponsors of terrorism and aide in the terrorists' cause.

Many of those opposed to the war in Iraq will claim Iraq was not a threat, but are more than willing to send more troops to Afghanistan. They will say Iraq never attacked us and we had no right to attack. Well, neither did teh nation Afghanistan. It is not always us against an entire nation.

Regarding Pakistan and other nations with historical terrorist connection, I'm not that stupid to think the US govt. has briefed the public on every operation and every effort to attack terrorist cells. Also, being familiar with your body of work, I can say you agree with me regarding this fact. Who really knows what the full spectrum of our operations encompasses.
