Thread: Warfare?

Can terrorism be fought with guns and bombs? Doesn't that just entrench people further into their ideas of hatred and prejudice? Shouldn't we be working to change their minds and hearts, not beating them into submission and making them hate us more?
I think understanding and tolerance are the ways to bring about peace. We must work harder to create global ties. Violence only begets violence. It cannot bring about peace.

Well, I think the world would be a better place if we didn't have any enemies.
But, if we are trying to crush our enemies by hunting them to extinction, can we blame them for doing the same to us? Won't they in turn retailate against us, and then we must retailiate back, and this unending cirle of violence just grows?

I much prefer Arnold's mein to Barney's.
