You're falling for the same old setup, in fact, you'll go ahead and vote for McCain even if he doesn't represent much of what you believe in.. just because. You're one of the guys who goes down the state/county ballot just checking off the republican candidates.

I don't particularly like obama (IMHO, he's not going to change much, and probably will be remembered more for being the first black president than anything he does..) but he's certainly no less hypocritical than mccain, and in the end, the actual impact on your life if either of these two gets in will be nominal.

But, I hear you say, he's a democrat!

Unfortunately, that's pretty much where you stop thinking, and start accepting facts blindly from your right leaning news source of choice.

You're so hung up on having a Black man running for President, you can't see anything else. Had you been born at the time, I'll bet you would have supported Jesse Jackson when he ran, as well.

Anyhow, you have no idea how old I am, but I wouldn't have voted for the Rev, basically because he was a gigantic idiot. That man planted his foot in his mouth more than a contortionist.

I don't think obama is perfect, far from it, but he's a better choice than the other two majors..

If you want to discuss independents.. then things might be interesting.
