Hydrogen is being used and so is solar power. Of course, Hydrogen requires natural gas and solar power is rejected by Liberals because the panels are unsightly.
Democrats have tried to block all forms of alternative fuels.
Democrats want to steal $10 Billion from taxpayers each year and fund the war in Iraq at $10 Billion per month.
The United States Department of Energy, has invested heavily in the commercialization of cellulosic ethanol. Deployment of this technology could turn a number of cellulose-containing agricultural byproducts, such as corncobs, straw, and sawdust, into renewable energy resources. Other enzyme companies are developing genetically engineered fungi that produce large volumes of cellulase, xylanase and hemicellulase enzymes. These would convert agricultural residues such as corn stover, wheat straw and sugar cane bagasse and energy crops such as switchgrass into fermentable sugars

Hydrogen requires what? Damn you're uninformed. Go read up a bit.
Mind sourcing your statement about solar energy/alternative energy also? And not cherry picking one democrat who objected to them in his backyard or something... because you'll certainly find more than a few republicans who are just as guilty.
Also, the war in Iraq is a republican mess.
Would you please get over the corn ethanol? The farm subsidies given to corn farmers are by themselves a 1/4 of the trust fund.. They're the only reason corn is even considered (in any way). There are many other crops with much greater potential, ones without billions of taxpayer dollars already spent.

Cherry picking? Isn't Obama running for President?
The production of Hydrogen requires large amounts of natural gas.
It's commonsense, a blend of fuels must be used in balance with available current resources.
It's obvious, Democrats are trying to steal Billion$$$$ with phony global warming hoaxes and blocking the development of alternative fuels.
What in the hell does Obama know about energy? lol

Wibb,
You say Iraq is a mess, most other Americans disagree. This includes Democrats like Obama and Hillary.

Wrong, most Americans, myself included, think Iraq is a huge debacle.

Yeah, cherry picking, he's opposed to using food as fuel (you know, since you can eat it). Where's his opposition to solar, hydro, wind, nuclear, hydrogen, etc?
You want to make blanket statements about something, you need facts that are a bit thicker than a spiderweb to cover em.
Hydrogen requires no natural gas (insert ad hominem attack of your choice here) as it's a third of the most common substance known to man..
It can be extracted using just about any energy source, in fact, there are even algae under research which produce it.
Common sense yeah, common sense excludes using food as fuel (hence obama's position).
Global warming isn't a hoax, it isn't as simple as people think it is, but it's without a doubt a real phenomenon. Obama knows enough to say that eating is more important than driving your SUV. Since when has a president had to be an expert on anything, that's what advisers and comitees are for.

Well, he damn well better be an expert at picking advisor's and committee members. Obama's choice of spiritual advisor has not shown him to be much of an expert, in that area.

Wasn't he raised going to that church?
Not really the most pertinent example you could have made, how about some people he has on staff, or recommended for comittees in the political positions he's served.

Pretty hard to keep up with is campaign staff, he has lost so many over their comments and poor decisions. Besides, I think his choice of religious adviser is very pertinent, even if liberals want to sweep it under the church.
